After leaving The Baltimore Sun’s newsroom, I pursued my passion for visually engaging journalism with the launch of Blue Sky Innovation from The Chicago Tribune. As the presentation editor, I designed the visual identity and initial website that launched this new digital publication on business innovation in October 2013. By leveraging strong reporting, editing, photography, and visual treatments, I explored unique and engaging ways to present Blue Sky content while maximizing advertising impressions.
